Obituary for Ralph Marino

We are sad to announce the passing of Ralph David Marino at the age of 87 on April 4th, 2024. Ralph died peacefully at his residence.

Ralph was born on June 6th, 1936 in Brooklyn, NY to Ralph and Sadie Marino. The family later moved to Ozone Park, Queens where he met his future wife and grade school sweetheart, Theresa.

Ralph served in the U.S. Army during the Korean war from 1954 to 1956, where was an Ammunition Specialist. He was honorably discharged and received a medal for good conduct.

In 1957, Ralph and Theresa married and moved to their cherished hometown of Carmel, NY where they raised their 3 children . Ralph worked for many years as a machinist and finally retired, begrudgingly, at the age of 80.

His loved ice fishing, boating, playing cards, taking care of his pristine lawn and his many cats. Ralph could fix or build just about anything. He was known as a man of few words and good sense of humor.

He is preceded by his beloved wife, Theresa Lanzillotti Marino and son, Steven Marino. He is survived by his daughters , Laura Marino-Haner (Philip) and Donna Marino Hall (Kevin) and his 4 grandchildren: Julia, Sophie, Nicholas and Ethan.
