In the early hours of December 10, Elsie Levy (nee Cianci), 93, of Carmel, NY, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away.
Elsie was born the seventh of eight children in Harrison, NY, to Maria and Carmine Cianci. She married Mortimer (Mort) Levy in 1950 and spent most of their married life in Harrison, NY, raising their six children. Elsie worked many years as an Assistant Manager of Accounts Payable for Continental Baking Company before retiring to Virginia where she and Mort were very involved in their community and church. They then settled in Carmel, NY in 2001.
Elsie was predeceased by her son, Peter, in 1966 and husband, Mortimer, in 2017. She is survived by her children Mary (Gasper) LaRosa, Barbara Ciero, Richard (Michelle), Michael (Kelly) and Carol Ann, as well as her grandchildren Christopher, Anna (Frank) Mazzagatti, Alyssa and Jonathen Ciero.
