Ralph Odierna passed away at home on December 10, 2022 with his daughters at his side. Ralph is survived by his children Lynne (Karl Bicknese), Elizabeth (James Welsh) and Ralph (Coni Probasco) and his grandchildren Karl Bicknese, Lauren Bicknese (Kenny Doss), James Welsh and Joseph Welsh and his sister Dorothea Noll. His second wife of 20 years, Geraldine Labrosciano died March 2022 and first wife Joanne Volpe died September 2000.

Ralph’s greatest achievement was the family he raised. His love and pride was evident when he talked about their achievements. More than anything, he loved to gather with his family for any occasion. To his children and grandchildren he leaves his love of God, family, friends and country.

Ralph was born and raised in the Wakefield section of the Bronx, where his faith was nurtured in St. Anthony’s Parish. He and Joanne then raised their family in Yonkers where he continued to be an active member of St. Paul the Apostle Parish. Finally, he spent the last 21 years of his life with Geri. Together they continued to show us the importance of faith and community in their very active participation at St. Gregory’s parish. Ralph is a past Grand Knight of the St. Gregory’s Knights of Columbus.

Ralph’s life took many directions. He started as a steamfitter, taught HVAC at Saunders High School in Yonkers, was an owner of 2 businesses- Adventure Plus Advertising and Eastchester Glass and Mirror, and finally finished his career in sales at Swackhammer in White Plains. He spent his retirement busy with the Knights of Columbus and volunteering at the American Legion Post 135 White Plains, NY.

Ralph loved to cook, go out to eat and follow sports. He was a diehard NY Yankee and NY Giants fan.

In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Tunnel to Towers or Sunshine Kids Foundation, each of these charities support groups that were important to Ralph- first responders and children who have cancer.
