Carol Hartnett passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2022. Carol was born and raised in Queens, NY. Her and her husband, Tom, moved to Carmel over 38 years ago. She loved being a bus driver for the Carmel Central School District. She was a fighter who loved to dance, go to the beach, have morning breakfast at the bagel shop, play left-right-center with her friends and spend quality time with all her grandchildren. She was 78 years young. Carol was the proud mother of two girls, Donna and Jennifer. She was the grandmother of 5 grandchildren, Jaime, Amanda, Emily, Jack and Timothy, and the proud great-grandmother to two great-grandsons, Chase and Thomas. Carol’s greatest love was her family, and her family loves her very much.
Carol is survived by her husband Tom of 47 years, her two daughters and their husbands (Herb and John), five grandchildren and two great-grandsons. Service will be held at Balsamo-Cordovano Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 22, 2pm to 7pm. Catholic Mass at Saint James Church, Carmel, NY on Wednesday, February 23, 11am.
