Obituary for Kenneth Hobbs
Kenneth S Hobbs, 72, passed away at home on January 20,2021 surrounded by his family. Born on January 8, 1949 in Portland, Maine to Kenneth and Mildred Hobbs. Ken was a longtime resident of Stormville, NY.
As the owner of Ken Hobbs Carpentry for over 40 years, Ken enjoyed working with his hands and building many things. Ken loved his yard and took great pride in his gardens and landscaping.
Ken is survived by his loving wife of 34 years Barbara Hobbs, his step children Craig Kirk ( Farrah) of Enfield, CT, Angela Vignogna (James) of Hopewell Junction, NY, Kerri Bloomer(Bruce) of Hopewell Junction, NY, 7 grandchildren whom he adored, Ryan, Nicholas and Kylee Vignogna, Caroline and Ethan Kirk, Tyler and Austin Bloomer, His nephew, Randy Fink and his niece, Kelly Cooper.
Ken was predeceased by his son, Kenneth S Hobbs who was his pride and joy, and sisters, Laurel Bleess and Linda Fink.
He will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be on Saturday, January 23, 2021 from 4-8 pm including a Funeral Home Chapel Service at 7:30pm. A private cremation will follow. Services have been entrusted to the Balsamo-Cordovano Funeral Home 15 Church Street Carmel, NY. 845-BAL-2144.
